I had a teeth cleaning today and was not looking forward to it! But, my dental hygienist was so good and used new tools that made the experience actually enjoyable! And bonus, they were playing upbeat music! And they have a very comforting family feel from the moment you enter the front door until you leave! I do love how they made me feel most of all and that was completely comfortable !

I broke a tooth with a filling in it, I made an appointment for yesterday Monday the 29th for x-rays and pictures. I first went there about 3 months ago for a different issue & they referenced me to Columbia behind the DQ on Millplain, they said it wasn't a Rootcanal issue...so we're still working on that. There's no pain right now, so I'm ok with it. After the Monday appt. I went to set up the next appt. To fix the broken piece. Had an appt. On Tuesday, the next day. Was there I think about 4 ish hours. I'm not sure the technical terms for what they did. But everyone of them I think there were 7 workers I interacted with including the Dr. ....they were all very nice, accommodating, friendly, answered questions, asked if I was ok...I gagged a few times. The young lady who numbed me I think her name was Aria ( sorry if I got that wrong) she was amazing. She was so gentle was watching my reactions I think because she was coaching me on breathing. She's awesome...noone likes being stuck with a needle, when you only feel a small price, it makes a difference. We brought our 2.5-year-old son to this office after calling ahead to discuss concerns about plaque buildup and a yellowish discoloration developing on his teeth. Since we do not have dental insurance, I specifically asked what services would be provided and was told the $305 out-of-pocket fee would include an examination, cleaning, and fluoride treatment, with the appointment lasting about an hour. Before booking, I made a point to confirm that a cleaning would be performed because other dental offices had told me they would not do cleanings on children his age. I was explicitly assured that they would. Unfortunately, that is not what happened. The entire appointment lasted only about 20 minutes. Instead of the cleaning we were promised, the dentist simply brushed my son's teeth and told us to brush multiple times a day, then explained that the yellow discoloration was normal. No actual dental cleaning was performed, and the fluoride treatment was not provided at all. When I questioned the charges and requested a refund for the cleaning and fluoride, I was told they would not refund the cleaning because the dentist had brushed his teeth and provided advice. Dr. Nguyen was absolutely wonderful as was the rest of the staff. Dr. Nguyen made sure I understood every aspect of the treatment plan and that I wad comfortable during the procedure. The staff are all so caring and helpful. I could not recommend Ranieu Family Dental enough!!

We brought our daughter in for a wild emergency visit, involving 2 broken teeth and a loose one.. They got us in, same day, on the Saturday before easter. The staff was AMAZING! They handled a very anxious little girl with patience and empathy. They talked her through everything and helped her feel optimistic. They help her understand each procedure and the rationale behind it, even though she's only 10 years old. Shes been talking a out how great they were all night. Thank you to the team Ranieu!
